Business Connection Lunch

Aug 27, 2020
11:30 am - 1:30 pm

Tell the Truth and Let the World Decide

Guest Speaker: Jack Dominic, Executive Director of the National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting.

The title of our presentation, "Tell the Truth and Let the World Decide," captures the very essence of the Voice of America. It was the guiding principle when it was founded more than 70 years ago and it serves today as the core mission of this venerable institution. In the 1940s, local broadcasters and engineers made VOA a powerful voice of truth and fact during a time of propaganda, hate mongering, and lies.

One of those engineers was Cincinnati's Powel Crosley Jr., an inventor, industrialist, and entrepreneur. Join us and discover how Crosley and WLW radio made an impact all over the world.

Please wear a mask for the safety of all attendees and venue staff. To facilitate safe networking, we invite you to send in your head shot, your logo, & a quote to display on screen before lunch by Monday, August 24 to the attention of Karen@SharonvilleChamber.com
