Taking Advantage of NEW Employee Benefits

Taking Advantage of NEW Employee Benefits - Panel Discussion (Facebook Live)

Let us help you retain and support your employees by taking advantage of NEW opportunities - plans designed to make retirement benefits and healthcare more accessible.

In January 2021, Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs) became available! These plans are designed to provide benefits to employees of two or more unrelated employers "pooled together," allowing small businesses to take advantage of the economies of scale to benefit their employees.

In addition, a new health benefit was recently introduced last year.  The Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA), became a game-changer for employers looking to provide health benefits to their employees. It represents a new, more modern model of employer-sponsored health insurance.

Join us online on April 21 for a Facebook live panel discussion to learn more about these benefits, well as other available employee benefits. Our panelists will gladly answer your questions at the conclusion of the panel discussion. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required in order to receive the link.

April 2021 Business Connection Lunch

Apr 27, 2021
11:30 am - 1:30 pm

We will enjoy networking and a delicious lunch on the Convention Center patio, see drones in action, and learn how these special drones assist firefighters and police in safely carrying out their work to keep our communities and residents safe. Our appreciation to our expert guest speaker, Johnny Mason, OFW, CTO, Fire Safety Services Supervisor.

Personal drones are a must-have for photographers, videographers, adventurers, surveyors, and more. Now that drones are readily available for purchase, it is important to understand and comply the rules for their operation! Our presentation will include the rules for operating a personal drone safely.

Great Oaks began offering drone training last fall in October. First responders learn how to operate drones throughout a new, first-in-the-world certification for Emergency Services Drone Operators. This program teaches how to use drones for fire fighting, law enforcement, and emergency medical rescue. Great Oaks has plans to offer classes for community and business members with personal drones in the future.

Inclement Weather may force us indoors to Exhibit Hall, where the large space and high ceilings will provide ample space for lunch and the presentation. Register Today!
