Holly Days and Breakfast with Mother Christmas
Two family-friendly holiday events!

 Holly Days

Dec. 8 & 9 12-4 p.m.

SHARONVILLE, Ohio – Celebrate the season at Heritage Village Museum and Educational Center and experience the warmth and beauty of holiday traditions of the 19th century. Each historical house will be decked out with traditional decorations from the 1800s. Children can make holiday crafts and visit Mother Christmas. Listen as musicians fill Somerset Church with holiday music and sample holiday treats. Watch model trains chug through villages in large model train displays.

 Each day there will be a reenactment of the first Christmas Dinner in Cincinnati, or as it was known in 1788 - Columbia. Native Americans, settlers, and soldiers all came together for a peaceful holiday celebration. The reenactment of the 1788 Columbia Christmas dinner features period correct food and clothing.

 Admission is $10.00 per person or $14 for a Breakfast with Mother Christmas and Holly Days combo ticket. Museum members and children ages 4 and under are free. 

 Breakfast with Mother Christmas

Dec. 8 & 9 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

Meet Mother Christmas and enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, sausage and fruit. This cozy holiday experience also includes story time and balloon art. Bring your camera for a Mother Christmas photo op! Breakfast will be served at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day. Reservations are required.

The cost is $6 for breakfast only or $14 for a Breakfast and Holly Days combo ticket. Museum members and children ages 4 and under are free. Call 513-563-9484 for breakfast reservations.

 Heritage Village Museum and Educational Center is located inside Sharon Woods Park, behind the Sharon Centre at 11450 Lebanon Rd. Sharonville, Ohio 45241. A Great Parks of Hamilton County parking permit may be required. Enter through Sharon Centre.

Heritage Village Museum and Educational Center is operated by Historic Southwest Ohio (HSO), a private, non-profit organization that owns and operates the buildings and collections of Heritage Village Museum and Educational Center. Heritage Village Museum and Educational Center is a picturesque gathering of 13 authentic historical buildings that represent various aspects of family life during the 1800s. These buildings include historic homes, a train station, a doctor’s office, a general store and a church.

Annual memberships are available to Heritage Village Museum and Educational Center. Members of the Village are granted free admission to the museums during regular operating hours, free admission to all special events, as well as many other benefits.
