Heritage Village Museum - Sharon Woods offers Escape Room Challenge
Escape the Village at Heritage Village Museum, located in Sharon Woods, is an escape room style challenge! Players can choose one of our two escape room adventures “Leaving the Station” or “Morgan’s Raiders of the Lost Art” for their private session.
Escape the Village will run Aug. 22, and Sept. 26 with three time slots for each room during each of these dates: Noon, 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m. Each session can accommodate four to eight people. Each session is private. Reservations must be made by 3:00 p.m. the day before the session. Call 513-563-9484 to check availability and schedule an Escape the Village session. Admission is $25 per person.
“Leaving the Station” is new this year and takes place inside the Chester Park Train Station. This escape room is based on the first train robbery in the United States which took place in North Bend, OH on May 5, 1865. Follow the clues left by our station agent to get into the office and telegraph for help before it is too late!
“Morgan’s Raiders of the Lost Art” is an art heist based on Gen. John Hunt Morgan and his men’s Confederate raid of our area in July 1863. The raiders could not carry all of the loot, so they stashed it in our General Store and left clues to find it later. Can you find the priceless piece of art before the raiders come back to claim it?
We are taking precautions to prevent the spread of covid-19. Each session will be private and limited to one family or friend group of players. Face masks are required. Game pieces will be sanitized frequently.
