Chamber Event Changes/Cancellation Update
March 16, 2020 Update from the Sharonville Chamber
With the COVID-19 crisis in Ohio, our Chamber, our Members, and the business community will be facing unprecedented challenges. First and foremost, know we are open for business! We are fully prepared to work and support your business in the same way we always have. We plan to be in the office but may implement flexible schedules staffing the office. We are able to respond to all forms of communications in a timely manner, regardless of our location.
We support the efforts of the State of Ohio to control the spread of COVD-19. As Governor Mike DeWine said, "We are all in this together, whether we like it or not. We have to take care of each other." As you know, Ohio's Department of Health banned "mass gatherings" of 100 or more people. This ban remains in place until the governor rescinds the state of emergency. The National CDC recommends gatherings no larger than 50 for the next 8 weeks.
The safety of our members, event attendees, and the regional community is our priority. Many upcoming events have been cancelled and may be rescheduled when the ban is lifted. Please like our Facebook page to see updates and/or visit our website events page for updates. Though we plan to have staff in the office during the workday, our Chamber Conference Room will not be available as a meeting space, through April.
