Safety Council

The BWC's Division of Safety & Hygiene sponsors safety councils, across the state, and our Chamber's Northern Cincinnati Safety Council is proud to be a part of the program!  Each Ohio safety council has the same goal - to increase safety awareness. But developing and maintaining a safe workplace is no easy task. That is why it must be a combined effort of local businesses and the community.

We strive to offer safety education to our region.  Over the years, our programs have addressed a wide variety of issues:  occupational safety and health, workers’ compensation and risk management education, mental heath, safe driving, lock out/tag out, workplace violence, medical marijuana, ergonomics, first aid and CPR, cost containment, accident analysis, FMLA, transitional work, ergonomics, and more.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, all BWC Ohio Safety Councils are each conducting 10 sessions virtually (online only) and the BWC will not offer a rebate for employer participation the program year of July 2021 through June 2022.

Our Northern Cincinnati Safety Council will offer 10 virtual sessions this program year, beginning in August of 2021.

All types of businesses are encouraged to join us.  Participants do not need to be members of the Sharonville Chamber, nor do they need to have a business located in Sharonville.

Registration will be open soon for the 2021-2022 program year, August 2021 through June 2022 (No sessions in July or December)
